A Reason to Paint

On September 19, 2006, I went to New Life Island to paint the meaninful places - the cabins, pathways, and familiar spots - in an effort to help the camp raise some much needed funds. God blessed greatly, and in four days of painting, He allowed me to complete 3 paintings and begin 3 more.

I will continue to work on the unfinished paintings in my studio, and I intend on posting the progress here. Keep New Life Island in your prayers and when the time comes, please consider purchasing one of these paintings on behalf of the Island.

I LOVE the paintings, but probably will not be able to afford to buy one. I was wondering if NLI might make them into note cards to sell or prints to raise money - I would definitely buy them and maybe the kids could send postcards with these now "famous" pictures on them. Just a though! A friend of mine who is an artist makes her paintings into note cards and they are VERY popular.

Thank you for your kind comments. I don't know about note cards although it has been mentioned. We are currently seeing about having prints made, though that remains to be seen. But rest assured should something additional become available you'll be able to find it on their website. Keep checking!

Thank you!
